Can anyone suggest a good summer tire for my 2009 Prius? Any sale price would help, too. My Prius has about 190,000 miles now!
I've bought the Michelin Primacy 4 last week. (Just not yet installed, because of the freezing nights here in Germany.) They were the only ones, I was able to find, with the EU rating of an A for each of consumption, wet handing and sound emission in this dimension (195/55R16). FP4 ?
Costco has a sale on Michelin tires this week through March 13th $419.40 For set of four Michelin - X Tour A/S T + H With installation, free lifetime rotation and road hazard warranty.
Why are you specifying "summer tires" ? For most people, "all season" tires are the best compromise. There is no good reason not to run "winter tires" all year round either. They put more rubber on the road but may wear a bit quicker because of a softer compound. That does NOT mean "snow tires".
“The Michelin – X Tour A/S T+H is one example of an exclusive tire. It’s essentially the same as Michelin’s Defender T+H, a long-lasting touring tire made with driving comfort in mind.” https://safedrivegear.com/michelin-x-tour-a-s-t-h-review/amp/
Good point. And that’s what responses have been so far. Summer tires, and summer windshield fluid, I’d pass on both.
