I have a 2008 Pruis with 189,000 miles. Every three months I am replacing a headlight. This had been going on for about three years now. One of my many times getting pulled over because the headlight went out when I was on the road, the police officer said he did notice he pulled a lot of Prius over for a highlight out. Anyone else have this problem? Other than that love my car.
I'm guessing you have high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights? That's a known issue with 2nd-gen Prii. It's by far the most-noted problem for your model year on Car Complaints.
