Hi all, I am a newbie to this forum so I apologize if this is a simple question. I am looking to buy aftermarket wheels for my gen III 2010 prius, I really like the VW GTI stock wheels. Does anyone know if these will fit on my prius? Thanks in advance Wheel Specs for VW rim: 18 x 7.5, 5 Lugs
There is a couple of great threads on after market wheels. I crossed reference a steel wheel for the Prius that also fit some VWs, so the rims just might work. Welcome aboard!
thanks for the reply, I have read that post and it seems like the wheels will fit, they are 5 lug and others had 18X 7.5 on their cars, i am just not sure about the offset or exactly what that means
The big one is the bolt pattern and the Prius is 5(bolts) x 100(mm). Next is the offset. You can vary that a bit... it just means how far the rims will "stick out" of the wells or more specifically Rim width with factor into this. Ideally you want the wheel to remain inside the well or at the most flush with.
