I junked the original wheel covers-badly scraped and I like the naked rims! I found nice caps for the center holes but would like to find thin chrome rings for the tour model 16" rims to hide the scuffs left by the old wheel covers. For a 07. Any sources?
I was very unhappy when I found out I had hub caps. Plastic and really cheap. I just don't understand why Toyota would do that to the Prius. So I'd consider buying new rims. Couple of concerns though. First, which rims to choose that will not impact the MPGs. Second, it is not easy to find nice 15". Some places simply don't even carry them. Third, if I'm gone to spend the money, I want it to look really nice. Last thing is - will it effect the TMS,(tire monitor system)?
