    It's got to happen and there is a lucrative market for them. They can make anything in China and smuggle them through Customs.

    All they need is enough precious metal to pass the smog test and most $130 cats from Canada and China will do that.

    How about a cheap kit to etch OEM or approved ID numbers onto cheap aftermarket cats?

    I saw in some threads you are a pretty nifty tinkerer. I vote you make them. (You can pretend they're Made in China and sell them for cheaper if you want)!

    Not interested, but given the market for counterfeit clone TIS cable interfaces, that's exactly what will happen.

    Just took a peek at the MagnaFlow website for our '12 v. Low and behold the "registered in CA" option was available! Selected it, and was greeted with a $2805 sticker price!!! Isn't that even more expensive than an OEM Toyota?
