LAPD Officers Under Investigation After Pacoima Rough Arrest - ktla.com One of the reasons I left enforcement to do other things, was the mentality of some of the officers I worked with... these two LA cops bring to mind a number of instances where folks that made a mistake were punished by badged men with an attitude that they are above the law, and have the authority to inflict grave harm if they choose to. I am hopeful these two are permanently relieved of duty, and the one that body slammed a handcuffed and non-combative prisoner is prosecuted for aggravated battery.
I can't imagine how two trained men cannot find a better way to handle a situation like this without going straight to the WWF-style take downs. LAPD gas some 'splainin to do.
I wonder if any nurses at the ER will bother to help out a LAPD officer that shows up on a stretcher after they watch this. "Opps, did I just give him the wrong meds? [Fist Pump]"
