Anybody know where the interior/cabin air intake is? I want to spray an air freshener into it. I thought it was the vent by the rear seat but that is a battery vent. I did find the exterior intake by the wiper. Thanks for any help.
Hi etyler88 The Outside Air Intake is located just beneath the passenger side windshield wiper. You will see a black plastic "grill" there. You might get better results by cleaning, spraying or changing the cabin air filter located behind the lower glove box. It's easy to access. Directions can be found (including photos) on John's web site: http://john1701a.com/ You might also search on "filter" or "smell" - "musty" etc.
I'm pretty sure the inside intake is behind the lower glove box, just below (or above) inside air filter. If you remove the lower glove box and then select recirculate you will see it open up.
That does not answer his question. He knows where the outside air intake is located; he is looking for the recirculating air intake.
