Where to get the car checked out?

    I am going to look at some CPO Priuses at a dealer about 80 miles away in northern Virginia. I know I should have another place check the car out if I decide I want to buy it, but where should I try to go? Would it be worthwhile to take it to another Toyota dealer in the area, or should I try to find some other mechanic?

    I tried searching here on the forum to see if there are any recommended mechanics in that area but folks were mostly talking about good experiences at dealerships.

    i don't think you need a cpo checked out, that's what a cpo is.

    Yeah your paying for the C part and they throw in the
    CPO warranty.

    Its not free.
