Which headlight type do i have?

    I bought a used 2012 prius a few weeks ago thinking it had xenon headlights. ive seen other pictures of priuses with one lens thingy in each headlight and mine has 2 on each. I read here somewhere that the ones with 2 lenses are LEDs and not xenon. Does anyone know what the difference between single and double lenses?

    Hi Olaf,

    There are only 2 options for the U.S. market:

    1. Halogen
    2. LED

    There was no Xenon option for the Gen3 in the U.S.

    As @xliderider stated, u have the better of the 2......LED

    VS980 4G ?

    Love the LEDs on our five. They make it easier for me to see at night than the standard lights on the gen 2. The only down side is that approaching drivers see four beams and think I have my high beams on.
