OK, I've had a Prius for nearly two years, my wife has had one for six months now. And we *still* get a giggle out of the concept of "Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle". x = 0 / 2;
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(paulccullen @ Mar 18 2007, 10:15 AM) </div> I guess they didn't want to complicate it by saying "Part of the time zero emissions". Dave M.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(paulccullen @ Mar 18 2007, 01:15 PM) </div> My emissions are not as good as yours. We only get x = 0/3 from our PZEV. Or is that better? Tom
Keep in mind that non-hybrids can qualify for a PZEV rating. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PZEV And in California, there are many cars that qualify: http://www.driveclean.ca.gov/en/gv/vsearch...ehicletypeid=16
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TonyPSchaefer @ Mar 18 2007, 10:06 PM) </div> Hey! Where's the Prius on that list?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Stev0 @ Mar 18 2007, 11:40 PM) </div> It's on another list for hybrids. See http://www.driveclean.ca.gov/en/gv/vsearch...vehicletypeid=7.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TonyPSchaefer @ Mar 18 2007, 10:06 PM) </div> Unfortunately most of those cars on these lists are not PZEV's for Colorado. , maybe the Cobalt and the Mazda3 and thats about it.
