Just want to see if there folks with 100k already on their Prius. I was reading this report http://www.reason.org/commentaries/dalmia_20060719.shtml http://cnwmr.com/nss-folder/automotiveenergy/ and their claim to fame is that the Prius will only do 109K miles, which I find hard to believe. If they claimed 150K it might have been more acceptable. Not to go into this report, as I haven't started looking at the numbers yet, but I already smell many fishy numbers listed. I'm sur eit is posted here somewhere, but I wasn't able to find it. I would have guessed one of the GM employees on the forum would have conviently pointed to it, since they payed for the study (directly or indirectly doesn't matter). So lets just see who has doen more than 100K so far.
Don't waste your time responding. With a handful of owners having already exceeded 200,000 miles, discussing half that distance is rather pointless. For example, Jesse's most recent photo...
They had LOTS of other fishy numbers but they changed what they posted too. Instead of a spreadsheet before that was pretty hard to read, now they've put up a 400+ page document w/random tables which are subsets of that spreadsheet interspersed w/random comments. See http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=2...62&#entry289262, http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=1...11&#entry272611 and http://www.my350z.com/forum/showpost.php?p...37&postcount=25 for examples of other totally bogus numbers.
You guys are probably right. No point in wasting my time pointing out obvious errors, stated opinions with no facts backing it up, etc.
