On a recent highway trip, I saw a new 2023/24 Prius sitting on the shoulder of the highway. There wasn't anyone around, so I didn't stop. But, I'm curious....what could cause a brand new Gen5 Prius to give up? Any guesses?
Get out your popcorn and start reading this forum... Sounds like the main one is Toyota not taking the recharge needs of the 12volt seriously enough in their software/firmware settings, and there's lots of dead 12volts. But usually if you see one on a highway, my guess would be it hit road debris, or ran out of gas.
