Yeah right, who ever heard of an old person applying the accelerator instead of the brake? Never happened. Well it did happen, around the corner from where I lived 22 years ago. A car crashed through the front window of the corner shop, when the shop owner reached in to turn the ignition off the elderly driver still had her foot firmly on the accelerator!!
