Why I no long track polar ice

    At one time, there was variability in polar ice that was interesting . . . but no longer. Polar ice has become too depressing and is now augmented by more warming spreading towards the equator.

    It was pretty exciting when the 1st solo sail boaters were making it through the Inland passage with relative ease, but now it's almost passe.

    Hah. Would argue it’s getting more interesting. Not getting pleasure from the outcome, but the alarming data is something to behold.

    So far record low at this point of the year, so there is a chance at lowest arctic sea ice extent by minimum, but NSIDC says probably won’t end up beating 2012 this year.
