That part (combination mater) can go bad and is subject to a special 9 yr warranty. But the "2" failure is not the expected behavior that I know of. Looks like CEL is on so you need to get codes.
Wow. Assuming that is not your speed and current mileage, that is one of strangest issues I've heard of. Best guess, may need a new combo meter, but most of them usually go blank when they fail. Your car may still be under the extended warranty for the meter.
...I do not know the answer if the clock gets the time from the meter or what...just brainstorming here
Take care what you wish for! My 2009 Gen II suffered the Combo-meter failure at around 111000 (see threads passim) all fixed under warranty (including loaner for nearly 3 weeks) - Thanks Toyota!
My combo meter went out about 4 years ago and was replaced under the warranty enhancement. Warranty still good until September 2017 but I don't the newly designed replacement will ever fail.
