Will running a Prius without the outside temp. senor cause any problems?

I just got my car back from the body shop and they forgot to install the outside air temp. sensor.
Every thing seems to work fine, except no outside temp is displayed. I looked and can see the plug hanging there but no sensor to plug it into. I know they will replace it next week , but in the mean time, will not having it affect anything if I drive it? Thanks for any input
