Obviously with any new vehicle model there will always be a few kinks that get changed during the next few years. The question is will it be next year or the year after? Would probably be best to look at historical data for the Prius line exclusively, and then Toyota as a whole. But that is knowledge I don't have.
Cosmetic refresh will probably not be until 2014 for the Prius c since you posted this is the Prius c forum. If the 3rd gen Prius lift back follows the gen II we may not see another cosmetic refresh until the gen IV comes out, probably mid 2015 as a 2016 model.
Yeah, the midlife update won't be until the 2014 MY at the earliest (Toyota's cycles usually have the update 2 years after the vehicle was launched)
