Will this 4th gen jdm engine swap work in a 3rd gen?

    I picked up this 4th gen engine to put in a 3rdbut noticed these extra connect that I don't see other people who have done the swapped have. Also I have the coolant hose on the side that I also don't see on other swap. Is the engine still possible to be use?     did you ever figure this out? I have a gen3, and just got my jdm gen4 engine, looks exactly like yours in the pictures.

    perfect thanks! I saw another video and the guy put that part number for the water outlet if you got the jdm gen4 so I got it, luckily I did. Doing the swap very soon.
