My kids sit in the back seat of my Prius. I was really strict with them at first about keeping the car clean. But no matter what I said the back seat was a mess of toys, books, crayons, paper, food, dirt, slobber, kleenex, and gum. Genius that I am, I made a deal with them to keep the back seat clean and will hand down my beloved Prius when they turn 16. I have 4 yrs left. I fear I might renege my deal with them because I just can't see myself given my Prius. Maybe they will forget. Is anyone planning on handing down their beloved Prius to their kids?
I'm half way through a 36 month lease (first time I've leased--decided to let Toyota assume the residual risk in this rapidly changing automotive landscape), and plan to return the car at the end and see what newer technology is available then.
Sounds like a good excuse to buy a 2015 PHEV to me. Give them the CAR... IF they behave and keep their grades up, then give them the SKS fobs....
