I live in Long Beach and I'm having a problem--the rubber/felt seal on the outside of each moveable window is splitting and falling off. Has anyone heard of a recall or service order about this issue? Since it seems to be fairly common (and increasing) on the Gen II will Toyota fix this?
I doubt Toyota will fix it under warranty. you will have to buy the parts and diy cause Toyota will hose you if you ask them to do it.
I hope you dodn't apply something like armor-all to them. The rubber might be incompatible with things that work on vinyl. Bill the Engineer
these parts are cheap and easy to replace. for you. 2007 seems to have had a rubber problem. if enough people will complain, they will do an extended warranty.
