I've only had my Prius for about two weeks now, but have on occasion seen a flashing reflection on the right side of my windshield. Didn't pay much attention to it, other than it was an occasional distraction. Today I realized I'm seeing the striping on the edge of the road pavement reflected off the windshield as seen through the little A Pillar window in front of the passanger side mirror. Makes for a fun game to see if you can keep the reflected image inline and in the window reflection view...probably more dangerous, though, than texting while driving. I'll have to put something down in the ground in a parking lot and see if I can move it around until I find out exactly where that "sweet spot" in the reflection is in relationship to the car. Might be useful somehow for backup operations.
