Windshield wiper replacement

    Just buy the rear at Auto Zone, Duralast 16a, direct fit for the wiper blade, $11 for the replacement. Just pop open the pivot cover, raise the wiper arm and pull down on the wiper blade, it will pop free, then replace the blade assembly with the new one

    It's shameful that Toyota doesn't include wiper blade replacement in the Owners Manual. I see in post #24 I've attached the Repair Manual info on the topic, but yeah, really pathetic. It's not always intuitive, how to remove the blade from the arm for example. The rear in particular will have you wondering if you're about to break it, lol.

    And remember remember: when you've got the blade off, be VERY careful about letting go of the arm, it could thwak down on the glass!
