Wiper Arm Cover Broke: Covered on Warranty?

    The small, plastic drivers side wiper arm cover (covers the bolt) broke. Saw I can order it on a parts website for $5. I have no idea how it broke and how it managed to still stay on.

    I have the extended 100K mile warranty. Would this be covered?

    If it's only 5 bucks, why bother with the warranty. That said, there's no harm in asking at your dealer.

    I go to the dealer to get free car washes (for life) all the time and I pass it often. If I had to go way out of my way I would probably just order.
