I noticed my wiring harness hold down bolts are not centered in the in the wiring harnesses holes. I'm just curious if the Prime comes that way from the factory because I don't see a reason why anyone would be messin around with the engine top wire harness at this point in the cars life cycle. If anyone has noticed yet or remembers to look next time the hood gets opened, pull the engine cover and look at the 2 or 3 bolts that hold down the wire harness just under the cover. If you can see any of the silver metal around the harness holes and the boltdown looks a bit off center, that 's what I'm seeing. I can think of a couple of maintenance procedures that would require the harness removal, just none of those maintenance items are on any of the cars service records. Thanks for reading...
My guess is it’s designed that way to provide some slack to the wires. Just maybe touch up paint the exposed area so it doesn’t rust on you...
Thanks for the suggestion @jzchen I'm mostly concerned with do others with Prime see the same from the factory? I'm trying to figure out whos and whats been tinckered with while I haven't been looking.
