There is an optional charging pad built into the console on the 2022 Prius LE. I don't have that option but want it. Does anyone know if I can order the part and likely find the plug in connector under my console? Will there be any software issues if I find a way to do this?
It's not worth it. I have it, and I have to watch it like a hawk, because it stops charging quite a bit, the phone has to be juuusst right to charge. a total PITA.
Just get a: "Fast 15W Max Wireless Charger Qi-Certified Charging Pad" on Amazon, it's only $10. JeffD
The “stock” charging pad is sensitive to overheats etc etc. i put in a apple magsafe plugged into a fast charge pluged into the 12v and used double sided velcro to secure it.
