I used the Curt wiring kit. It uses an interposer harness, so you plug one end of it into your taillight, and the other end of it into the pigtail meant for the taillight. Repeat for other side. Route cables to control pod. You will have to crimp/solder/something for the main power input, but that's it. Then route the trailer output harness from the pod out to wherever it hits the input for that accessory. So it's not strict plug n play, but it is the fastest, least-technically-involved trailer light harness installation you can get. The pod uses current transformers to sense what the car's lights are doing, and then it repeats the lighting pattern for the trailer. This is great for isolation- it means your trailer/aux lights can't interfere with your native lights.
