I want to install a power converter and car warmer but don't want to damage any wiring etc with the screws. A diagram would be helpful. Not sure where to get it. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
The Electrical Wiring Diagram from Toyota for the 2013 Prius v is available by subscription to techinfo.toyota.com. The Location & Routing section shows the general positions of the wire harnesses, but not precisely enough for blind drilling or installation of fasteners. If you’re looking for a no-cost option, your local public library may sponsor access for its patrons to the ChiltonLibrary service, which has the wiring diagram for the 2012 Prius v, which is similar in many respects.
Most of the metal panels are thin and if they have wiring, it's usually visible or under the trim. Here's an example in the back with the right side panel removed. Some wiring goes to the front under the door kick plate. Probably could use one of the compartments in the back or under a front seat.
