Won't run

    My 2008 Prius will not run. When I push the power button I get Master error light and check engine, abs, and others. Can only put the car in Neutral or Park. I was doing some body work; Light welding. I disconected the main ECU, removed the hv battery service plug and disconected the ground on the 12v battery. It feels like it needs some kind of a reboot. Does anyone know how to do this or what else could be wrong?

    Make sure you put the safety plug in correctly, the symptoms are similar to those when it is not in.

    which means to insert the plug, pivot the lever 90 degrees, then slide the lever to lock in place.
