07 package 3 375 miles av mpg 43 mpg mostly city today after filling up the car would not start . When I pressed the start button all of the warning lights including the brake light came on . I called the dealer who said to try starting procedure over a few times . Car did start and is now performing normally . Should point out that car was running in park position for maybe 10-15 minutes while I was demonstrating the audio system to a friend . Any comments ??? thanks , Marty in Florida

Only thing I can think of is that, if the fuel cap isn't secured, it'll create all sorts of problems.

Or...for some reason, you forgot to press on the brake when pushing the power button.

If it happens again, check the color of the light on the Power button.
Green or Amber indicates the Power button pushed without brake pedal depressed.

Sounds like the start button was pushed without the brake engaged. Without the brake the 1st push is the usual "ACC", the 2nd push is "ON", the 3rd is "OFF".
