I had a chance to try some Scratch-X on my old car (that I sold my sister). It had scratches all along the drivers side from my dogs. They always wanted to ride in the car and I could never get them to stop pawing the car. So I tried some Scratch-X, then Color-X. They're not gone but wow what a difference. This is a 1996 black Saturn SC2 Coupe. I can't find the gallery or photo album to put these pictures in so I'll make four posts. here's the rear panel before.
Wow....I'll have to try some of that!. My pup has a unique "tallent" for hopping up on the hood on my Boxster and although he's pretty light, he does leave light scartches behind. I normally use a polish (3M swirl remover) and it does a fine job, but I'll try this stuff. Your results are pretty impressive, especially for a black car. Sorry to hear about your Prius...hope it comes back better-than-new and back soon. I'd second the obedience school idea or just a good nail triming
Well, they are both in that great obediance school in the sky, sad to say. My current dog is extremely well-behaved and he waits patiently for his turn. I have him trained to wear a padded seat restraint harness. He waits patiently for me to put it on. Then waits for the door to open, takes his seat on the passenger side, sits and I buckle him in. He is quite the little man. He is my avatar, btw.
Looks like you had a Close Encounter around the middle of the driver's side. Don't forget to wipe the excess off from the edge of your door handle, and from the top edge of the door panel where it meets the window. We don't want to have to send out one of our goons to do it for ya. Good stuff!
