My friend's looking for a car below $4k. Obviously it would be high mileage, but I'm OK with cars that have +/- 200k as long as they're in decent shape.
I paid a little over $4k for my 06 Prius it was an ex cab but driven by the owner, just had a repaint (yellow), motor & main battery replaced (used parts) at around 220k, leather seats, navigation, Bluetooth & rear backup camera. Still runs & drives fine.
I got lucky and found a personal sale on my neighborhood. He listed in craigslist contacted him and he was 2 streets away lol. Just be patient... 06 pack 7, 150k miles. $3500. I got really lucky.
