Hi. Just picked up a 2010 Prius II. I'm pretty handy and wanted to know if I can install the XM receiver myself? Also, where can I purchase the equipment required for the install? Thank you.
I am not all that handy and I installed the XM receiver on my wifes Lexus GS350 with no problem at all. I got the parts from a Lexus dealer that is a good friend. I urge you to go to the web site "Radios&More" and look for the module. If it isn't there, call their 800 number. The owner used to answer their phone and he is very nice and very knowledgeable. I expected to have to remove all sorts of rugs and seats but in the Lexus everything was in the trunk area and was quite simple to do with the Toyota instructions.
