Hello everyone! This is my first post and I must say I am very excited. I can officially say I am owner of a brand new 2011 Black Prius III with Navigation aka "Miss Lola D." (yes! I named my car ). Driving the Prius is a completely different experience than that of driving my old car ('02 Acura), but I must say I love it. Every time I get in, I find something new and exciting; it has not fail to amaze me. Plus - I LOVE NEW CAR SMELL - (for some reason it smells like chocolate ..I know... weird) One of the coolest function is the no key unlock and starter - no more searching to the bottom of my huge bag for it. AND WOW - IT'S SUPER QUIET! Big thanks to PriusChat.com and all it's members, you all have been a great resources! I look forward to learning more about what this mean green machine can do!
Congrats! I think black cars are great for urban dwellers. Beautiful when clean, even. (Terrible for country people like me as they show everything.) I name my cars too! My three week old Prius is named 'Vera' because the 'Lane Keep Assist' keeps me from veering into the other lane. Woot! Welcome. I know how exciting it is...
Hi Dubs! I really intend on keeping this car clean =)... well the best that I can at least. Vera is an awesome name, very clever. "Lane Keep Assist"? What is that? Is this a real function and is it available on the '11 models?
