Hey all, Trying to figure out yearly changes to the 04-09 Prius. Here's what I have so far: 04: debut 05: rear wiper and washer standard 06: new grille, hybrid badge added to side, slightly revised headlights and taillights, peak horsepower restated, rearview camera optional 07: side airbags now standard, Touring debuts 08: lower-price Standard model added 09: none Am I missing anything? I appreciate any help. Thanks!
A couple of things that come to mind right off beginning with the 2006 model year: The smooth dash surface was changed to a textured one. An added air dam below the front bumper.
Welcome to PC happyPrius! :welcome: I see a difference in headlights between our '04 and my carpooler's '08 version in that there's a funkie little design running across the horizontal center of the headlights. Almost looks like a row of LED's but I'm certain they're not ... though there WAS one PC'er that melted his headlight housings open and actually added them ... way more work than I could rationalize. OH! And of course, Prius did away with the cassette tape player ... and added ipod capability. OH! And you could get leather as an option from the factory ... without having to get it installed after your ride was unloaded off the boat. .
