YAY! I finally collected my Prius today! 2005 Tideland Pearl Package "B". I decided to drive home with the radio off to get a feel of the vehicle and I must say it's quite impressive. The only 'jerk' from the engine turning on/off was at the start when I first powered up the vehicle. I did notice the auto-dimming mirror doesn't dim like the Camry. Is it because of the rear spoiler that cuts out some of the light from the headlights or is it just not as sensitive? Other than that, I'm quite happy =)
the rear spoiler usualy cast a shadow on the sensor.. lol.. just bad luck on the placement. I hard before about people flipping the mirror upside down so it works better.. lol.. i don't see quite how. but yeah. works fine for me as it is.
congrats on your new addition to the family!! you might think that is a statement a bit over the top, but give it time...
