You Too Can Own An EV1 (well, sorta)

    We used to have about a dozen of these leased here at Disney ... not the nickel pack models, but the lead. And boy, you think iMiev's / Leaf's / Sparks / Ford EV's have limited range, you don't EVEN wana try a 1 hour drive on used lead packs. :p Some of the tech's that worked on the EV1's & S-10EV's spun off a company (EV Bones -http://EV Bones LLC Chevrolet S-10EV Sales & Support ) to keep 'em running for years and years. Now? You'd really get hosed trying re-animate one of these. The LPI public chargers are almost all gone now too.

    I seem to recall where the drivetrain from one of these was stuck into an EV1 shell to put it back onto the road, since they were pretty much the same.
