I've been very happy with this one:

The adhesive pad it came with let go after a few weeks, but I reattached it with a better adhesive pad.

I spoke to the dealer about mine not working. And he indicated it works without my case. So I tried it and found that it is hit and miss but occasionally goes into the charge mode. I pointed out that I have a MagSafe case that is recharged via magnet at home and having to t take a case off a phone to charge it is ridiculous. They didn’t care… it works.

I don't like to use the wireless charging slot because the reception can't be as good as when the phone is in a higher position.

It'd be nice if there was convenient "clip point" on the dash, purpose-built for cell phone holders.

Mine mounts very nicely on the flat surface to the left of the steering wheel.

Can you imagine the heat they'd get for doing that? Have you noticed that every other car manufacturer puts their wireless charging pad below the level of the dash?

That is where I have mine too. I have a old version of the iOttie phone holder on amazon. Once I update my iPhone am planning on getting a magnetic holder/charger.

Anyone have a magnetic cell phone holder/charger they like for iPhone?

Mine is not magnetic, but it clamps the phone when you place it in the cradle, and it unclamps with a button-press, even when the power is off.

I shared the link, but I don't know how to make it visible. If you hover over it, a line appears. Click on that for the link.

If it's an Amazon link, they work properly if you type and select representative text, then click this icon:

And paste the Amazon link into the field presented.

That's the one I used. It decided not to display it, apparently.

This holds it well and you can charge via the cable.

I am quite happy with wireless Android Auto. My other car requires a cable, and I find it inconvenient.
