HTC Droid connectivity

Is the droid set to allow bluetooth? my wife has a moto droid and it pairs fine.

 

Anyone have any luck with the HTC Incredible and a 2004 Prius? The phone & car see each other, the phone asked for a password, which I enter, the message reads "pairing" briefly..... and then the message disappears. They don't see each other. Repeated attempts, same process & result.

 

I have been able to connect my Droid Incredible to my 2006 Prius w/Navigation, but cannot get it to connect to my 2008 Prius. Is there a trick to this?

 

I haven't been able to get my Droid Incredible to connect to my 2007 Prius. Hope someone can help both of us.

 

You have to make sure that the pairing with the 2006 is either out of range or disabled before you try with the 2008. the droid will only pair and connect to one device at a time and will default to the one it paired with first if it is in range of both, unless you go into settings and disable the first one.

You only have to do this when setting up the second device.

The phone will then pair with whatever car you are in.

 

I can connect and make calls no problem with my droid eris, just can't transfer my phonebook.
