CD Player is deader than Elvis

    I apologize to you all, but there is no chat available for those of us owning a Gen I Prius (2001), but perhaps someone can help.

    I have a factory-installed 6 CD changer, which is now dead. The radio works like a champ. I'm thinking perhaps the fuse needs to be replaced?

    Any ideas?

    I am not aware that Classic Prius came with a CD player, let alone a 6-disc changer. It is likely that your car has a dealer-installed or aftermarket unit.

    I suggest that you find a local car audio store for assistance.
