I am loving my Prius more and more every day. It shows 64.6 MPG on the display. Here are the different parameters. Average temperatures: 80 to mid 90 degrees F. City/Hwy Driving: 90% City and 10 % Hwy Average speed: 29 MPH Tires: Bridgestone Ecopia LRRs Tire pressure: 44PSI all four. Daily commute: 17.3 miles one way. Air conditioner in the car: On 80% of the time. Stereo: 100% of the time with my added 600 watt sub.

Thank you. Usually I leave A/C auto on around 78 degrees. The fan speed will be on second dot (right after LO) or on LO most of the time.
GREAT numbers, Murali! I'm "voluntarily" unemployed, but there are times I actually wish I had a daily commute such as yours; 17 miles each way in, hopefully, reasonably light / flowing traffic. I say this because on those occasional days that I combine three-or-more errands and end up driving 15+ miles in Mithril over the course of a couple of hours, he frequently "thinks" he's averaged 60-65 mpg for the duration ... and sometimes MORE! ( Such results, of course, are during the "warmish driving season" that runs from March to October around here. ) My, how THAT would help his lifetime MPG of a measely 50.1 !!!
