So it seems like all the products which I made have been able to install to emulate a DVD and have audio on my MFD are... vaporware. They may have existed at one time, but they don't now. My goal is to find a way to emulate a DVD input to the MFD, and then I'll munge the pins to fix the speed sensor, but I need to find something I can plug in that knows how to emulate a DVD input, or learn enough about how to do that, and so far there's been a lot of links to things that no longer exist. So I'm looking for suggestions, if any of you have any.
coastal stopped making all their v3 lockpicks, apparently, sad because that would have been the obvious choice.
Im not sure what model car you have, but I have a Navtool that I've been trying to sell on CL but haven't found anyone yet. It worked with my 2005 Prius with nav/JBL premium audio package. It only adds video to your MFD I used it for after market backup cameras that would run even while I drove like a rear view mirror. You would have to find a sound solution tho if you wanted to play DVDs. If your interested let me know.
I just removed the lockpicks from my 2007 prius because the Nav stopped working (black screen with vertical lines while all other MFD functions work just fine) and I'm trying to figure out why. I have the one that connects to the MFD and the one that connects to the Nav dvd drive under the driver seat. Probably won't be putting them back in as I will be selling the car. I'd be willing to sell them but I don't think priuschat has a parts for sale forum
