id want to do a generic android unit but the car I have has jbl audio if id be a big pain and loose features id just keep using the aux port
JBL with remote amp under passenger seat? Has nav unit I think as well, bluetooth etc... Remote amp is bus controlled by the system reading the volume controls and sending volume up/down messages to the remote amp. If you replace the radio head you may have to bypass the remote amp to access the speaker wires. Won't be fun...
