2007 came with no radio. I found one from a 2008. Last owner attempted to install a non-stock radio. He may have changed plugs. I will attach pics of existing plugs & back of radio. I need advice on wiring. 2 of the existng plugs have 20 pins, 1 plug has 12. Only 1 of the two - 20 pin plugs fit my radio. Do I need a new harness?
If you can manage it, we need another photo of that plug on the left to see what they connected with those wire nuts.
Does the radio you got from the 2008, does it say on the front somewhere (I think next to the power button or volume knob "JBL"? For sure, the plugs you have do not match up with the stereo as you indicated. However, you cannot just get a wire harness to correct it. You need to get the correct radio. AFAIK, there are two kinds of radio, the basic on, which is what your plugs in your car has, and a more advance one ( I assume this to be JBL). I say I assume because I have the basic one like yours, and have never seen a JBL one. I am in the process of installing an Andriod touch screen head unit and encountered a similar problem. The cables they send me are for an 'advance' unit, I assume this to be JBL. And like you, the wrong cables, only 1 of them will fit that 20 pin on the car. I am awaiting the correct cable which matches 3 plugs from your first picture which I have as well. As for those grey nuts, I don't have them in my cables. If those two colors are just joined together by the nuts, I would think it's fine.
