Does the Shark Fin Antenna have anything to do with my GPS Navagational System, or is it strickly for radio reception. Thanks Al
A sharkfin antenna just replaces the black whip antenna for your radio, it has nothing to do with the GPS antenna. The GPS antenna is located under the plastic of the dash, looking up through the windshield.

True, but getting the wire from the center of the roof to a usable location requires removing the headliner, which is NOT a simple operation!

I attempted to go through my headliner but gave up. The process almost creased the liner. And I am very mechanically inclined.
