So my dad decided to fill my tank in cause he wanted to go to the mountain for a day. While he was filing my tank up, i decided clean my front glass. "click " "click" "dad , what are you doing? " me "wth.. why only 8 gallongs ? " dad "stop clicking OMG!!!!!... that's all it needs" me "that's it?" dad "yes, stop clicking!!! " me he's really loving the gas savings cause i went to big bear and my overall mpg for 190 miles was 45.5 mpg... and i was driving fast ..screeching my tires downhill.. people say that the prius doesn't handle that well but i think for what it is.. it's pretty good... my previous car was a celica alltrac (gt4)... yes it's not like my alltrac, but for what it is... it's very fun to drive... V8 killer baby~
Filling up is quite amusing! I like to watch the expression on other peoples faces when I fill up on about 8.7 gal. For kicks, I bought a matching 2 gallon mini-size gas can to use to bring home fuel for the lawnmower. If someone asks, I tell them it is my "extra reserve if I want to go 600 miles between fill-ups with my Prius! Lee
the best is when you pull up behind some big suv filling up, get out, fill your tank, wash your window, write down your milage and then pull off while joe suv is still pumping
I love the looks people give when I fill up. I also love the seeing the amount the previous customer paid!
x3 seriously... i wasn't even done with the cleaning... my dad loves it.. he was giving me crap cause i traded my lexus for this bad nice person sucker.. but now.. he's thinking Highlander Hybrid
I'm glad I'm not the only one to get annoyed at something so silly. I guess it has something to do with out time managment tendancies. Like I used to pride myself on being able to do a bunch of things (clean windshield, check oil, etc.) before the pump shut off. Now I can't do anything except send a text message or kick my tire to check the air pressure before the darn pump clicks off. lol
I like to stealth in, fill up, and stealth out. Some people say there's no functional use for the EV button. I beg to differ.
this is probably the best feeling going into a gas station... having people have this.. "WTH" look ...
Here's what I did today: bought gas on the way to work. The station is only a block from where I work, and it mostly used battery on the street and in the parking lot, so as I parked, I check the MFD. 95.7 MPG so far on this tank!
No wonder people look pissed when I fill up. and I thought it was because the license plate said "UEatGas" ZC1
Let's see, 8 gallons at todays price of $4.39 a gallon is $35.12. Makes you wish it was only 4 gallons.
