I have a new 2008 Prius Package 2 and I made an MP3 CD with my music and I was wondering if anyone knows how to override the audio controls from fading out like the NAV override b/c I like to go to the files list and choose songs from the screen but when I start moving they gray out and I can't do anything again til I reach a stoplight. Thanks for any help!
Using the controls on the steering wheel can help you go forward or back in a folder, but you can't switch folders while moving. My soluton is to put everything in the root folder, then flip quickly using the arrow keys. (I have the 6 disc changer, so I don't really need folders.) This is hardly ideal. There are some commercial work arounds available (search on Coastal Electronics) but I haven't tried them.
