    i leave mine plugged into the outlet tied to a Belkin conserve socket which shuts off after 3 hours charge. highly recommend it.

    not sure if it will detect, but i do know that if you can get the serial numbers you can input them on your ecu very easily if you have a tool...

    I just got 21 miles on a full charge. it was weird, i usually get only 11-12mi. 58mpg compared 44mpg without charge.
