Hi All, I'm new to this forum. Just bought a used 2008 Prius w/ BlueTooth and Navigation. I'm loving it! The guy who had the car before me still has his phones showing in the BlueTooth phone setup. I was able to add mine, as there are about 6 total slots (he used 3), but I want his info out of there and I want room for friends/family/new phones. I can't for the life of me figure out how to clear his phones out of my cars computer. If I click on one of the his phones it just gives me the details, and doesn't have a "delete" button or anything. Thanks!
I just bought a 2008 also and I have the exact same question. I bet you may also be wondering how to reset the phonebook lock function. I'm hoping there is a reset code so that I can input my new phonebook lock. Thanks in advance for answering the two questions.
Right! I couldn't figure that out either, but wasn't sure why I'd need it. If there is someway to restore the whole system to factor default- I'd be happy to start from scratch and set things up. Let's hope somebody can answer
On the Bluetooth settings menu, select delete then select the phone to delete. (Page 234 of the user manual) Hope this helps! Regards, Phil
finally was able to get back to my car and do this! I think the pages of the manual don't line up correctly but your description really helped because it wasn't intuitive to me on the navigation system. Thanks so much!!!
I have the reverse problem. I own a Prius 2007 and accidentally deleted my phone profile while trying to add a new one. I no longer have an iphone profile on the bluetooth settings on the car. How do I add my old profile back? Thanks, Michelle
Hi Michelle, As far as I know there is no way to recover a deleted profile. You will need to re-pair the phone & create a new profile. Regards, Phil
