I need a list with all parts that i need in retrofit navi process. My car is Prius gen II 2006 without navi,sks, or rearview camera. If somewone have experience in do this please PM me.
May I ask why? It would be extremely expensive and labor intensive to run all the cabling and equipment. Would be much cheaper to replace the radio with a nice Nav unit and add a backup camera. That could be done for under $800. I imagine the Toyota parts would be $1500+ labor.
why? because i want original navi in my car, I find some cars with navi in scap yards over europe and i need a list of parts for retrofit.
I looked into this and had a list but I scrapped the idea. It's WAY to expensive to do. Like you, I wanted the OEM navi in the car, but it's not worth it. I have everything but the navi and backup camera so I was going to put both those items in the car. You need a new MFD screen, all the wiring, the camera, switch the computer into the navi/backup cam mode. I can go on. I just bought a TomTom instead for $120, and put a Clarion aftermarket navi in my Subaru.
