Just bought a 2008 Prius and i am so happy i did. After 11 days and 750 miles of driving, averaging about 51 mpg overall. I do not miss driving my 20 mpg 5 series BMW at all, which just sits in the garage for now.
Enjoy! I've been driving mine for almost 3 weeks and have been having a blast. I even volunteer to drive places where I normally would make my husband take his SUV to!
Thanks, yeah i do the same with my wife, taking her to the beach, and other places. I Feel like driving all the time and going everywhere. Prius rocks...... Although she is tired of me talking about Prius all the time. She thinks Toyota should hire me to do their Prius advertisement. LOL
I think a few of us could make a pretty good Prius commercial! I felt like telling everyone on Facebook today that I got 55.3 mpg on my way to work today but I think they might be tired of the rah-rah Prius stuff. At least I have Prius Chat!
Welcome to PC!~ Best Of Luck with Your New Ride. You have joined the many who put their families first. Pay for all this gas to Look Macho at the expense of my family or Get a Prius and spend the money on vacation or entertainment for the kids. You chose wisely my friend!!
Thanks.. Exactly i could care less if i dont look macho in a Prius. Who cares! Just a great feeling watching the mpg go up and up and being able to drive freely without worrying about spending so much $ on gas. BTW - i have the same color green.
